Shared diary
One of the most important features of the portal is the shared diary.
It enables users to verify the availability of collaborators offering the service they are searching for on a weekly basis, thereby making it easier and quicker to arrange appointments on the appropriate day and at the appropriate time. In this way it is possible to avoid wasting time and money on telephone calls to make sure the right person is free at the right time. This feature increases the speed and efficiency of the service as it is possible to consult availabilities on line, and in real time.
The service provider, on the other hand, can indicate her/his availability on a weekly, daily, or hourly basis, via a simple, user-friendly interface. As a result, he/she will receive requests exclusively for the periods indicated and will no longer need to worry about double-bookings, or idle periods because everything is managed automatically.
How it works:
When a user has found one or more collaborator offering the required service, he/she can request an appointment at the most convenient time by selecting from the free periods indicated in the shared diary. An email notification is sent immediately to the respective service provider who then simply logs on to the portal in order to confirm the appointment, or refuse it if he/she is no longer available for any reason.
Both parties can access the information regarding the appointment at any time, including any modifications, in real time: from the moment a proposal is made until the moment it is accepted or refused.
The shared diary can be used for all types of service handled by the portal: baby sitters, personal shoppers, private lessons, dog sitters, home helps, tailors/dressmakers, etc.
